Caroline + Capitol Records
Operating under the umbrella of Capitol Records, Caroline is a full service partner to the independent label and artist community. In an effort to best serve this community, Caroline asked Manufactur to overhaul their previously existing website and integrate their partner-managed electronic press kits (EPKs) into a more intuitive and Caroline-branded package.

In leading the development of the new online destination and partner portal for Caroline, I worked closely with the Caroline and Capitol Music Group teams to create a solution that would replace the third-party platform they had been giving their partners access to in order to create Electronic Press Kits. These EPKs were the primary focus for the development of the new site and as each independent label would be responsible for maintaining their own Artist pages, the Caroline team wanted to ensure that the backend to create and edit these EPKs was as intuitive as possible.
Each partner/independent label was given the ability to add various assets, including downloadable photos, videos, tracks and files, for each artist in their roster that they added in the backend. A short bio, contact information, tour dates and a Tumblr-esque feed to feature recent artist highlights were also sections made available to be added for each artist. The Caroline team was even given the ability to go through posts from any artist feed and feature them on their own curated caroline.com feed.
